Pulau Gajah and Bukit Marak, Kelantan. (21-23 August 2020)
An outreach program was conducted in Bukit Marak and Pulau Gajah, Kelantan intended to engage with the local communities on the knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) of using biochar in the agriculture. Several activities were held during the program includes: a knowledge transfer session with the local communities in two locations whose residents are mostly farmers, followed by questionnaires distribution to random respondents to collect their thoughts on acceptability and applicability of biochar in agriculture. A pop-up booth was set up during the transfer knowledge sessions dedicated to exhibit the different biochar types and their production via a kiln.
